CISCO Lab at GUtech
Cisco has granted a networking lab to ITS department, as part of CISCO's intitaives to promote education. ITS would be setting up this lab in Summer semester and would be made available for users before the beginning of academic year 2014-15.
ERP integration
The independent modules of ERP packages are on production environment and integration of all modules are being done. Whole integrated environment is expected to be completed by end of second quatrter.
Security and Firewall training
Two senior IT staff would undergo training on firewall and security, by end of second quarter at Fortigate training center at Dubai.
